We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams & Juneau Counties.
- Respond to crisis calls and conduct mobile crisis interventions
- Perform risk assessments and determine appropriate interventions
- Offer brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
- Meet clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or community locations
- Respond to potential suicide or emergency situations
- Gather information, assess client needs, and connect clients to community resources
- Maintain relationships with county staff, law enforcement, courts, and community partners
- Document all interactions in compliance with regulations and identify service gaps
- Stay informed on laws, procedures, and best practices related to crisis services
- Support organizational mission, vision, and values
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
- One year of experience working with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, 55)
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain professional under pressure
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within one hour
