We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.

- Responding to crisis calls and providing mobile crisis response when needed
- Conducting risk assessments and determining appropriate interventions
- Offering brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
- Meeting clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, law enforcement, or community locations
- Responding to potential suicide or emergency situations
- Gathering information from interviews, records, and collateral contacts
- Assessing client needs and connecting them to community resources
- Maintaining strong relationships with county staff, law enforcement, courts, and community partners
- Documenting all client interactions in compliance with relevant regulations
- Identifying service gaps and recommending improvements
- Staying informed on laws, procedures, and best practices related to crisis services
- Supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and values
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related fields (e.g., psychology, social work, criminal justice)
- Minimum one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, 55)
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making skills, and professionalism under pressure
- Ability to work independently and build relationships with diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Must be able to respond within one hour to crisis calls in Adams or Juneau County
- Occasional travel for meetings or training
