Job Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our construction team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans, preparing cost estimates, and supporting bids for commercial façade and building envelope projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Develop quantity take-offs for materials and labor.
- Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare bid proposals and assist in project handoff to operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate budgeting and scope alignment.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in estimating, preferably in glazing, curtain wall, or façade systems.
- Strong understanding of construction documents and materials.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
