Position Title: Men?s Soccer Head Coach
Position Description: Performs coaching and promotional functions, including fundraising, for the ACC men?s soccer team.
Reports To: Athletic Director
Position Status: Temporary Part-time, Exempt, Paid by Stipend, subject to annual review and appointment. Practice begins in August; season runs August through October. Recruitment and other related activities may extend beyond the season.

Position Responsibilities:

- Direct and coordinate the activities of the soccer program in the planning, organizing, and coaching of the men?s soccer team.
- Responsible for recruitment of team members.
- Ensure all equipment associated with the soccer program is correctly set up, maintained, stored, and returned on completion of the coaching season.
- Must be willing to work outside of normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with College, conference, and NJCAA policies and regulations.
- Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of the student athletes.
- Monitor the expenses associated with the soccer program and make recommendations to the Athletic Director.
- Schedule and arrange team travel with the assistance and approval of the Athletic Director.
- Prepare game plans and strategy for intercollegiate competition.
- Follow all ACC and Athletic Department policies and procedures.
- Report any injuries of participants to proper school officials, filing proper injury report form.
- Communicate and follow up with Athletic Director on team matters requiring approval and input.
- Conduct daily practices (practice schedule varies from early morning to evening hours).
- Travel with team to all games and tournaments.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate pre-season trip and conditioning program.
- Provide other program services as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise intercollegiate athletes and the assistant coach.
Expected Hours of Work: The normal work hours for this position include early morning and evening practices throughout the season, with frequent games and tournaments in the evening and on weekends.
Travel: Frequent out-of-area and overnight travel is expected.
Work Environment: This job operates in an athletic environment, both indoors and outdoors.
