Hiring: Microbiology Technician
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Duration: Approximately 4 months (with possibility of extension)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25–$35/hour (DOE)

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science
- Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in a regulated environment
- Experience with:
- Environmental Monitoring
- Water Testing
- Bioburden Testing
- Endotoxin Testing
- Microbial Inoculation & Enumeration
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO, USP, or EP standards
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cleanroom experience
- Optical microscopy experience
- Equipment and test method validation experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological quality control testing
- Conduct environmental monitoring and water testing
- Perform endotoxin and bioburden testing
- Prepare, inoculate, and enumerate microbiological samples
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and data integrity
- Support laboratory audits, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow laboratory safety and quality procedures
