🚀 Endpoint Engineer (Onsite – Palo Alto, CA)
📍 Location: Palo Alto, CA (Onsite Only)
🔎 About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Endpoint Engineer to join a fast-paced environment onsite at headquarters in Palo Alto. This role will focus on managing and automating endpoint ecosystems, ensuring a seamless, secure, and zero-touch experience for a global workforce.
You’ll act as the SME for Apple & Windows environments, while also supporting cloud-based virtual desktops.
💻 Technical Environment
- Apple (macOS & iOS): Jamf Pro
- Windows & Android: Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Virtual Desktop: AWS WorkSpaces
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
- Perform system maintenance, patching, and endpoint lifecycle management
- Act as escalation point for complex endpoint issues
- Manage Jamf Pro (macOS/iOS) environment at scale
- Administer Microsoft Intune for Windows & Android devices
- Enable zero-touch deployment using ABM & Autopilot
🔹 Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Manage and optimize AWS WorkSpaces
- Handle directories, custom bundles, and image management
- Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues
🔹 Automation & Engineering
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell & Bash
- Package software for silent deployment (dmg, pkg, msi)
- Build reporting for inventory, compliance, and security
🔹 Security & Compliance
- Enforce encryption (FileVault, BitLocker) and endpoint security standards
- Partner with security teams for vulnerability remediation
✅ Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Endpoint Engineering / MDM experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Jamf Pro (macOS & iOS)
- Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Hands-on experience with AWS WorkSpaces (VDI)
- Experience supporting BYOD environments (iOS/Android)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of Okta or Azure AD (Entra ID)
🎓 Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Certifications like Jamf 200/300, MD-102, AWS Cloud Practitioner (preferred)
🤖 Nice to Have – AI Tool Deployment Experience
- Enterprise AI tools (Glean or similar platforms)
- Developer AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
- AI productivity tools deployment & governance
- Understanding of AI security, DLP, and rollout strategies
