Almost Home is looking for a warm, dependable, and nurturing Part-Time Infant Caregiver to join our Infant Team! If you love baby giggles, tiny hands, story time, songs, and watching little ones discover the world around them, you may be exactly who we are looking for!
At Almost Home, our caregivers do much more than provide basic care. We build relationships, create a safe and happy environment, and help our youngest children learn and grow every day.
What You'll Do
- Provide loving, attentive care to infants throughout the day
- Prepare and serve meals and bottles while helping ensure proper nutrition
- Change diapers and keep little faces and hands clean and happy
- Help infants settle down for naps and provide comforting care when needed
- Talk, sing, read, play, and interact with children throughout the day
- Encourage development through age-appropriate activities and large-motor play
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Supervise children closely and always put their safety first
- Communicate with families about their child's day, activities, meals, naps, and milestones
- Complete accurate and timely daily documentation
- Work as part of a supportive team that truly cares about children and one another
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Warm, patient, dependable, and nurturing
- Comfortable caring for infants and young children
- A great communicator who enjoys working with both children and families
- Ready to get down on the floor, sing a silly song, read a favorite book, and celebrate those little milestones!
- Able to work consistently Monday–Friday, 11 AM–2:30 PM
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferred
- Babysitting, child development, or early childhood education experience is a plus
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
- A genuine love for children and a desire to help them feel safe, loved, and successful is a must!
