Role Description
The Accounting Assistant is a full-time, on-site role at our Wheeling, IL location. The Accounting Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with the preparation of financial statements, processing invoices, and performing general bookkeeping tasks. Additional responsibilities include supporting the finance department with data entry, reconciling accounts, and handling accounting software to track and organize transactions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial principles
- Experience with Accounting Software and ability to input and manage data effectively
- Knowledge of Financial Statements and reporting processes
- Solid background in Finance and budget management
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant prior experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
