Customer Service Representative – Manufacturing

With ongoing growth and new opportunities ahead, we’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the main point of contact for customers, handling orders, inquiries, and support requests related to our manufactured products. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and process customer orders and inquiries using ERP and supplier portal systems.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and online procurement platforms.
- Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and lead times.
- Prepare and send quotes and order acknowledgments.
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and engineering to manage order flow and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on order status, shipping inquiries, and any delays or adjustments.
- Address and resolve customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
- Develop strong product knowledge and understand customer needs to provide effective solutions.
- Assist with post-sale support and build lasting customer relationships.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a customer service or office environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, supplier portals, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
- Background or interest in manufacturing or engineering is a plus.
