Job Summary:
The HRIS Specialist supports the ongoing maintenance, configuration, and optimization of Alltech’s Human Resources Information System (Dayforce). This intermediate-level position ensures data accuracy, system performance, and responsive user support for our North American entities, with opportunities to contribute to the global rollout of the system. The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and committed to continuously learn and grow their technical and functional expertise as Alltech’s HR technology landscape evolves. Candidates with a blend of HR process knowledge and technical systems aptitude will be most successful.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and systems integration.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms; Dayforce experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and motivation to independently learn new systems, tools, and processes.

- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain data integrity across all HRIS modules and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide daily support, including troubleshooting user issues, managing workflows, and resolving errors.
- Understand and apply system logic (e.g., workflows, user roles, security, etc.) in configuration, testing, and implementation of system updates, enhancements, and integrations.
- Support HR, Payroll, and Talent teams by generating and analyzing reports and dashboards.
- Document system processes and provide training and guidance to HR and business users.
- Proactively seek opportunities to leverage new system functionality and apply best practices to improve processes.
- Support the global Dayforce rollout by participating in implementation, standardization, and optimization activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize system functionality and improve the employee experience.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent experience with HR systems.
- 3–5 years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Technology roles required
- Experience configuring or supporting enterprise HRIS platforms (Dayforce strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, including the ability to work with workflows, system logic, data auditing, and testing
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required; experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Dayforce Reporting) is a plus
- Experience working across multiple business units or geographies preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
