About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate with hands-on experience in Single-Cell Genomics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to support cutting-edge research programs within a leading global biopharmaceutical organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in scRNA-seq, snRNA-seq, RNA-seq, and NGS library preparation, with the ability to independently execute experiments, troubleshoot workflows, and deliver high-quality sequencing data.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform NGS library preparation and quality control for research applications.
• Execute single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) workflows.
• Prepare and process RNA-seq and other sequencing libraries.
• Conduct molecular biology experiments including nucleic acid extraction, purification, quantification, and qPCR.
• Support assay development, optimization, and validation activities.
• Analyze experimental results and communicate findings to scientific teams.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of laboratory research experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• NGS Library Preparation
• RNA-seq
• scRNA-seq and/or snRNA-seq
• qPCR
• Nucleic Acid Extraction & Purification
• Experience with one or more single-cell platforms:
• 10x Genomics Chromium
• Parse Biosciences
• ScaleBio
• Illumina-based workflows
• Knowledge of sequencing QC and data quality assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRISPR-based technologies.
• Exposure to high-throughput screening workflows.
• Experience with laboratory automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
