Job Summary
Clinical Supply & Manufacturing Planning Specialist (Contract)
The Clinical Supply & Manufacturing Planning Specialist is responsible for representing the work group to senior leadership and cross‑functional governance teams by clearly communicating progress against defined goals and timelines. This role translates clinical trial demand into supply requirements and ensures alignment with internal and external manufacturing partners to support uninterrupted clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the work group, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams, providing regular updates on milestones, risks, and achievements.
- Translate clinical trial forecasts into actionable supply and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize supply and demand planning tools to support clinical programs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute API manufacturing campaigns to ensure timely availability of clinical supplies.
- Oversee inventory movement and management to ensure adequate stock levels at depots and clinical sites.
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors and internal manufacturing partners.
- Support ongoing clinical supply initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead or actively participate in governance, planning, and project review meetings, clearly communicating challenges and mitigation strategies.
