Duties
- Engage with clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to identify insurance needs and promote our services
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional client communication and personalized service
- Conduct analysis of client portfolios to recommend suitable insurance coverage options across health, life, property, and casualty lines
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, quotes, policies, and follow-ups
- Educate clients on insurance benefits, coverage options, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA for health information privacy
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones through targeted campaigns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze client needs and present compelling solutions
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products including property casualty, health, and life insurance; familiarity with insurance regulation is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for efficient sales administration and client management
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, client communication documentation, and teamwork
- Understanding of benefits administration processes and health insurance concepts such as HIPAA compliance
- Analysis skills to assess client portfolios and identify appropriate coverage options effectively
