Road Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 120k/year - Indianapolis, IN
- Our client is a civil engineering firm seeking a Road Project Manager to support the design and delivery of state and locally funded roadway projects throughout Indiana. This position will manage civil and roadway design projects while coordinating project scope, schedules, budgets, design activities, and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Federal Aid, INDOT, and local roadway projects from notice to proceed through post-letting services.
- Provide roadway design direction and manage civil engineering and project delivery activities.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate roadway design activities with engineers, CAD designers, internal departments, and subconsultants.
- Support the development of Letters of Interest (LOIs) for state and local transportation projects.
- Review and approve civil and roadway design calculations.
- Review roadway drawings, construction plans, and design documents for multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate project elements associated with INDOT and Federal Aid design requirements.
- Meet with clients regarding roadway and civil project requirements, scope, and design recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- 6 years of road or roadway engineering experience.
- 2 years of civil engineering Project Management experience.
- Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain an Indiana PE license within six months.
- Roadway design experience.
- Experience managing civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of the INDOT Federal Aid design process.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
