Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 110k/year - Somerset, PA
- Our client is a growing manufacturing organization known for its commitment to operational excellence, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. They are seeking a Human Resources Manager to support plant operations and lead HR initiatives across a manufacturing environment. The Human Resources Manager will serve as a key partner to plant leadership, balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on support across employee relations, compliance, and talent development.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR partner to plant leadership, supporting day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, etc.)
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions, including workforce planning and onboarding
- Oversee HR lifecycle processes including onboarding, performance reviews, compensation planning, and offboarding
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, headcount, etc.) to identify trends and drive improvements
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement employee retention and engagement initiatives
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communication
- Maintain and update employee records within HRIS systems
- Support training and development initiatives for both hourly and salaried employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of Human Resources experience
- Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and performance management
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems (such as ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, or similar)
- Ability to partner with operations leadership in a high-volume, plant-based environment
- Professional certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus

- Base salary up to 110k/year
