- Prospect, qualify, and close net-new enterprise opportunities with employee benefit buyers and broker-consultants at local, regional, and national levels.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to meet defined activity and revenue goals.
- Partner with product, marketing, and clinical teams to align solutions to client objectives and demonstrate clear ROI.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking initiative to solve complex business and technical challenges while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Build a robust pipeline through inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound prospecting.
- Engage benefit buyers and intermediaries (brokers/consultants) using a consultative selling process to identify needs and position solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and proposal to negotiation and close, ensuring internal stakeholders are aligned to deliver customer commitments.
- Track and report sales activities, forecasts, and progress against targets.
- Provide actionable market and customer intelligence to product and marketing teams to refine offerings and messaging.
- 8 years of professional experience in enterprise business solution sales or business development.
- Experience selling healthcare-related services or solutions either directly to employee benefit buyers, through broker-consultants, or B2B to enterprise healthcare clients.
- 5 years of demonstrable experience prospecting, qualifying, pursuing, and closing new enterprise opportunities.
- Proven success using a consultative, solutions-focused sales approach and negotiating complex deals.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate customer goals into measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable collaborating across product, marketing, and clinical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- Comfortable working in early-stage or fast-growing environments and willing to take initiative to drive results.
