Join Our Growing Machine Shop

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manual Machinist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision workmanship and enjoys working with quality equipment. Our shop has recently added a new Sharp manual mill and manual lathe, providing a clean, modern work environment with reliable machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and other machine shop equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
• Machine parts to precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual milling machines and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of machining practices, drilling, tooling, and inspection methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment.
