Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract: 10/2026-02/2027

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Pharmacy Technician to join a fulfillment team responsible for safely and accurately preparing and shipping specialty medications to patients across the country. The ideal candidate has previous pharmacy technician experience, strong attention to detail, and an active Alabama Pharmacy Technician license.

Key Responsibilities

• Process pharmacy orders using multiple computer systems, verify order accuracy, and generate shipping labels.
• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information, selecting medications from inventory, and completing required scanning and packaging.
• Select appropriate packaging and shipping methods based on medication requirements, including products requiring refrigeration or special handling.
• Ensure medications are packaged securely and accurately for safe, timely delivery to patients.
• Operate and maintain pharmacy fulfillment equipment, including automated packing and IPD machines.
• Follow established pharmacy, fulfillment, safety, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of up to 10 pharmacy professionals in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Active Alabama Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy fulfillment, specialty pharmacy, or shipping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle prescription orders.
• Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and pharmacy fulfillment equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, production/fulfillment environment.
