Job Overview
The Allies of Skin Paid Media Manager will own the execution, optimization, and day-to-day
management of paid media programs across digital channels in the US and global markets. This role
serves as the critical connector between internal teams and external agency partners—ensuring
campaigns are strategically aligned, flawlessly executed, and continuously optimized to drive efficient
growth.
This individual reports into the SVP of Digital with collaboration and direction from Digital Growth
Consultant and is highly detail-oriented, data-driven, and operationally strong, with the ability to
manage multiple workstreams across creative (ugc, designed, founder, etc.) and copy for DTC, retail and Amazon media. Where appropriate, this role will use AI tools to enhance creative development,
streamline workflows and improve media performance.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Execution & Optimization
- Manage day-to-day paid media operations across Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Partner with agency to execute full-funnel media strategies aligned to business goals (awareness, acquisition, retention)
- Monitor performance daily and identify optimization opportunities to improve ROAS, CAC, and conversion
- Ensure proper budget pacing and allocation across campaigns, channels, and key moments
- Participate in weekly performance reviews with agency and internal stakeholdersCreative & Asset Management
- Own end-to-end asset workflow: briefing (assets, copy, UGC, etc.), timelines, approvals, usage rights, and delivery
- Provide video editing feedback on long form assets to be used in paid channels
- Develop clear, strategic creative briefs grounded in performance insights and testing priorities
- Partner with Creative and Influencer teams to ensure assets are platform-native and performance-driven
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate asset ideation, versioning and testing at scale
- Manage asset trafficking across channels, ensuring accuracy, formatting, and deadlines are met
- Maintain asset library and ensure proper naming conventions and organization
Agency Management
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for paid media agency
- Ensure agency deliverables meet expectations across strategy, execution, and reporting
- Hold agency accountable to KPIs, timelines, and testing roadmaps
- Facilitate clear communication between internal stakeholders and agency partners
- Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and overall efficiency
Campaign Setup & Trafficking
- Oversee campaign setup and QA across all platforms
- Ensure proper tracking implementation (pixels, UTMs, conversion events)
- Manage campaign launches, promotions, and key retail moments (e.g., tentpole promos, retailer events, product drops)
- Troubleshoot issues related to delivery, tracking, or platform performance
Budget & Invoice Management
- Track and manage media budgets, ensuring accurate pacing and forecasting
- Own monthly budget reconciliation and reporting
- Review and approve agency invoices and media spend
- Partner with finance to ensure accurate accruals and cost tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Performance Reporting & Insights
- Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights
- Support development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Identify trends across audience, creative, and channel performance
- Partner cross-functionally to share learnings and inform broader marketing strategy
- Contribute to testing roadmap and measurement framework
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with CRM, eCommerce, and Brand teams to align on key campaigns and messaging
- Support integrated campaign planning across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Align media strategy with product launches, promotional calendars, and retail moments
- Ensure consistency in messaging and positioning across touchpoints
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in paid media, preferably within DTC, beauty, or consumer brands
- Strong experience with Meta and TikTok Ads Manager (Google/YouTube a plus)
- Experience using tools such as Asana, Figma, etc.• Experience working with agencies and managing external partners
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing budgets and invoices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners
- Familiarity with Shopify, GA4, and attribution/measurement tools is a plus
