As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related desk operations, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy front desk location.
• Monitor access to the location by checking in visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining front desk logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests, observing lobby activity, and documenting unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
