As a Security Officer Patrol Reception in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying badges, visitor procedures, deliveries, and/or restricted area access in accordance with site protocols.
• Support a professional environment by observing for unusual activity, assisting with directions and general questions, and communicating security-related concerns involving patients, staff, visitors, and/or property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
