As a Security Guard - Armed Government Site in Tavares, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for a government location by conducting regular patrols and responding promptly to incidents. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as an armed patrol professional at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned area and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and/or members of the public with security-related needs or inquiries.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and providing guidance during urgent situations.
• Document observations and incidents clearly and accurately as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
