What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting authorized personnel as needed.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide a sense of security to all individuals on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
