Senior Scheduler
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Schedule: On-site Monday–Thursday | Remote Fridays
Travel: Occasional travel to Birmingham, AL as needed
Position Overview:
ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Scheduler to support large-scale energy infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a scheduling professional who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
This position is based in Midtown Atlanta and requires candidates to reside within driving distance of the office. The role follows a hybrid schedule with on-site work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules.
- Monitor schedule performance, identify variances, and provide regular schedule updates to project leadership.
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify critical activities, forecast delays, and evaluate schedule recovery opportunities.
- Lead project schedule update and review meetings with key stakeholders.
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Analyze schedule impacts resulting from change orders and scope modifications.
- Forecast project completion dates and evaluate alternative scheduling scenarios.
- Support integrated cost and schedule reporting in collaboration with Project Controls.
- Review contractor schedules and ensure accurate progress measurement and reporting.
- Provide schedule analytics and reporting to support informed project decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant scheduling experience.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Experience performing Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and schedule analysis.
- Ability to forecast project completion dates and evaluate schedule impacts.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, utility, energy, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of schedule risk analysis, forecasting, and recovery planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and Project Controls teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to Birmingham, AL as project needs require.
- Must be able to work on-site in Midtown Atlanta Monday–Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
Location Requirements:
- Must currently reside within driving distance of Atlanta, GA.
- No relocation assistance is available.
- Out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
Pay: $62.50 - $81.73 per hour
