Position Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this mission-critical role will be responsible for leading operational strategies in supporting our mission of building a best-in-class combustion turbine repair business unit. Collaborate with management team members across all related functional areas to meet customer demand and quality expectations. Establish a culture of high employee engagement levels, operational excellence, and safety with an objective of achieving destination employer status in meeting corporate profitability objectives.
Position Scope & Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of short- and long-term business plans to capitalize on business segment potential.
- Create and manage key performance indicators in driving optimal performance levels in all areas of production.
- Manage an annual budget to support anticipated repair volume in collaboration with executive leadership team members.
- Leverage general operations support functions to include Purchasing and Finance to maximize operational capabilities.
- Partner with Safety and Human Resources to create and maintain a highly engaged manufacturing team culture that achieves elevated performance objectives on a consistent basis.
- Create and deliver executive reporting on team results and key performance indicators.
- Prepare plans for capital improvements to support longer range planning objectives for growth and expanded repair capabilities within market segment.
- Meet customer quality standards and thresholds through collaborative leadership with Engineering team.
- Establish and execute skills development strategies to ensure long-term workforce readiness to fulfill long-term growth objectives.
- Support the Commercial and Sales team in providing guidance on technical capabilities, customer presentations and visits along with marketing strategies.
Salary : $165,000 - $190,000
