Project Engineer
A Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the full life cycle of heavy civil and energy construction projects, providing key coordination between field operations, engineering, and project management teams. This position focuses on submittal management, cost tracking, material coordination, and schedule control across large-scale projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the Project Management team with engineering coordination, procedural planning, and value engineering initiatives.
- Manage project submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Track budgets and forecasts, including monthly cost analysis, projections, and cost-to-complete reports.
- Coordinate procurement, delivery, and documentation of all project materials and subcontracts.
- Maintain accurate project data within the company’s ERP system and support project financial reporting.
- Collaborate with field staff to ensure schedules, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are met.
What we're looking for
- 2 years of project engineering experience in construction or energy infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and cost/schedule control systems.
