Our client is continuing to mature and modernize its enterprise technology environment and is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support visibility, alignment, and strategic decision-making across IT systems. This role sits within a highly collaborative technology organization focused on transparency, documentation, and long-term architectural planning.
The Enterprise Architect will work cross-functionally with business partners, application teams, and IT leadership to document the current-state technology landscape, identify opportunities for optimization, and support governance and modernization initiatives.
This position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship or C2C.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to document enterprise applications, platforms, and integrations
- Maintain an accurate inventory of systems, including ownership, business purpose, dependencies, and lifecycle status
- Analyze application usage to identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and consolidation opportunities
- Develop and maintain system diagrams, architecture views, and process documentation
- Support enterprise architecture governance efforts, including preparation of materials for technical and architectural reviews
- Translate business requirements into technical inputs to support architecture assessments and planning
- Collaborate with application owners, analysts, and operations teams to ensure system documentation remains current
- Identify documentation gaps and recommend improvements to enterprise architecture processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 10 years of experience in IT systems analysis, business analysis, or enterprise technology support
- Demonstrated experience documenting enterprise applications, systems, and integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience creating technical documentation, workflows, and architecture diagrams
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, frameworks, or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) preferred
- Experience with EA repositories, IT portfolio tools, or diagramming platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
