Data Architect – Enterprise Data Platform
Location: 260 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA 19063
Employment Type: Direct-Hire | Full Time
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (5 days per week)
Our client is seeking a Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of an enterprise-wide data platform, including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics environments. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role partnering closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, governed data solutions.
This opportunity is ideal for a Data Architect who enjoys owning data strategy, influencing standards, and working closely with engineering and business stakeholders in a fully onsite environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead enterprise data architecture strategy and solution design
- Design and govern data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical platforms
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Define and enforce data architecture standards, governance, and metadata
- Partner with Data Engineers to optimize pipelines and integrations
- Support cloud platforms including Snowflake and Databricks
- Provide architectural oversight across multiple initiatives in an Agile / SAFe environment
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or data platforms
- Strong expertise in data modeling, governance, and metadata management
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data integration tools
- Cloud experience (AWS or GCP preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across teams
Preferred:
- Data Vault or Enterprise Canonical Data Models
- Domain Driven Design (DDD) or SOA experience
Additional Details:
