About the Position
Allied Resources Technical Consultants (ARTC) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support power generation facilities through planned outages, turbine and generator overhauls, and long‑range maintenance initiatives. This role blends technical planning expertise with hands‑on field leadership, ensuring maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and within schedule and budget. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire opportunity with a hybrid work structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee turbine and generator overhaul activities from pre‑outage planning through post‑outage closeout.
- Develop detailed maintenance work packages using operational history, OEM documentation, and maintenance requests.
- Provide matrixed field leadership to maintenance crews and foremen during outage execution.
- Create and manage labor plans, schedules, and resource forecasts to meet outage milestones.
- Track daily progress during outages, adjusting schedules and resources as conditions change.
- Support capital projects and non‑outage maintenance planning during off‑cycle periods.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during project design to ensure constructability and workability.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to identify potential execution risks.
- Coordinate internal teams and third‑party contractors to deliver work safely and efficiently.
- Administer vendor contracts, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting.
- Utilize Primavera P6 or similar project planning tools to track progress and report status to plant leadership.
- Serve as a key point of contact for maintenance and outage‑related issues across multiple facilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by standardizing maintenance and outage processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant maintenance, outage planning, or generation operations.
- Strong working knowledge of steam and/or gas turbine and generator maintenance.
- Proven experience supporting or leading turbine and generator overhauls.
- Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, and contractor oversight.
- Experience working in operating power stations, including construction, maintenance, or operations environments.
- Ability to work effectively in both planning and field‑based roles.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular on‑site presence.
