CAD Drafter
We are hiring multiple CAD Drafters to support utility projects by producing and updating technical drawings using MicroStation and related design tools. This role will focus on electric and gas facility mapping, verifying as-built information, and maintaining CAD drawings to ensure compliance with standards and accuracy across projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Update and maintain electric and gas facility maps using MicroStation, IrasB, and GIS (G/Tech).
- Research affected documents using Asset Suite 8 and incorporate engineering changes (ECs).
- Verify as-built drawings for accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain and update CAD drawings in accordance with construction standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to implement design changes, create layouts, and support construction activities.
Top 3 Qualifications
- Proficiency in MicroStation (required); experience with IrasB, GIS (G/Tech), or AutoCAD a plus.
- 2 years of CAD drafting experience, ideally within utilities, engineering, or construction projects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
