Senior Payroll Tax Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing multi-state payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
• 5–7 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including off-cycle and shareholder payrolls.
• Proven experience in sick leave and PTO plan setup and administration, with knowledge of applicable state and local leave laws.
  
  

Proficiency in UKG/UltiPro payroll systems (preferred), along with strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; experience with iManage Records Manager a plus.

Duties

• Manage multi-state payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for tax agencies and audits, providing expert tax guidance to Payroll, HR, and employees.
• Administer and update PTO and sick leave plans, ensuring compliance with varying state leave laws.
• Support payroll processing operations, including off-cycle, bonus, and shareholder payrolls.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain accurate tax setups and resolve payroll tax issues promptly.
