Lead Data Center Technician

We are seeking a hands-on Senior / Lead Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations and act as a key partner to the Data Center Operations Manager. This role combines customer-facing support, technical execution, and light team leadership in a fast-paced colocation environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with rack & stack, fiber, and cross-connects, and is comfortable operating independently. This individual will help bridge the gap between leadership and the technician team while ensuring high-quality customer delivery. This is a growth-oriented role with clear advancement potential.

Duties

• Perform rack & stack, cross-connect installations, and fiber termination/labeling
• Support customer requests including remote hands, deployments, and troubleshooting
• Monitor facility systems and respond to alerts related to power, cooling, and security
• Assist with coordinating installs, vendors, and day-to-day technician activities
• Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation, and inventory tracking
  
  

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of data center or colocation experience
• Hands-on experience with fiber, cross-connects, and rack & stack deployments
• Experience supporting colocation customers in a technical capacity
• Working knowledge of data center power and cooling infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  
  

Salary: $58,000-$62,000
