Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Allied Occupational Medicine. This is an on-site role located in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities include providing expert care for workplace injuries and illnesses, conducting medical evaluations, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The Nurse Practitioner will focus on effective injury treatment, prescribing medication when necessary, and ensuring employees can safely return to work. The role also involves consulting with employers, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting preventive health initiatives in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Clinical skills, including diagnosing, treating, and managing workplace injuries and illnesses
- Experience with medical evaluations, documentation, and occupational healthcare practices
- Knowledge of best practices for workplace safety, injury prevention, and return-to-work processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consulting with employees and employers
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Indiana with prescriptive authority
- Ability to work independently and make evidence-based decisions
- Experience in occupational or urgent care medicine is a plus
- BLS or ACLS certification is preferred
