Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Greater Indianapolis location. This on-site role involves evaluating and treating patients with workplace injuries, conducting comprehensive medical assessments, and collaborating with employers to develop treatment plans that promote safe and timely return to work. Additional responsibilities include performing physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, providing health education, and ensuring compliance with occupational health guidelines. The Nurse Practitioner will also play a key role in maintaining clear communication with employers to align on patient health outcomes and organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in evaluating and treating workplace injuries, conducting physical exams, and providing patient education
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans with a focus on efficient recovery
- Knowledge of interpreting diagnostic tests and understanding occupational health regulations
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, employers, and the healthcare team
- License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Indiana
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational medicine or a related field
- BLS certification and familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining a safe workplace for employees
