ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Director will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the marketing function within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, market growth, product positioning, and demand generation strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. The ideal candidate brings a blend of marketing expertise, customer insight, and operational understanding to influence both strategic direction and execution.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business (or related field), (MBA preferred).
8 years marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
Experience marketing to OEM’s, distributors, or industrial end-users.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principals (a plus).
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer messaging.

RESPONSIBILITES
-Follow all company safety guidelines, practices, and procedures. This includes the proper use of personal protective equipment when required.
-Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
-Collaborate with product management, sales, and engineering to launch new products and support existing product lines with compelling marketing plans and collateral.
-Drive branding, digital marketing, and trade show presence, advertising, content development, and public relations strategies.
-Manage the creation of sales enablement tools, including product catalogs, spec sheets, case studies, and presentations.
-Utilize market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to inform strategic direction and product marketing.
-Oversee marketing budget, performance metrics, and return on investment (ROI) for all marketing initiatives.
-Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
-Support distributor, OEM, and channel marketing programs to strengthen customer relationships and grow market share.
-Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and communications.
-Provide direction on pricing, market segmentation, and content creation.
-Champion providing necessary data/information sources such as IDEA Connector platform, Home Depot, and other Sync platforms.
-Oversee Marketing roles and goals.
-Perform market research analysis and surveys to determine market opportunities for current and new products.
-Assist in directing advertising and sales promotional efforts to ensure a proper fit with Allied’s strategy consistent with enhancing the company’s brand awareness.
-Direct Marketing/Sales efforts to develop sales forecasts used for business plan development, production planning, and other purposes.
-Targeted reduction in waste of all forms (time, materials, labor).
-Creating and continually improving upon a culture of teamwork, accountability, and trust by modeling expectations and providing positive feedback to drive desired behaviors.
-Performing other duties, as assigned.
