Position Summary
Alliance Staffing Solutions LLC is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for PRN opportunities with Encompass Health – Ludlow. The RN will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or other complex medical conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care experience in a hospital, Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), or inpatient rehabilitation facility.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical/surgical nursing.
- ACLS certification (preferred if required by facility).
- Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems.
