Key Responsibilities

- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, equipment use, and injury prevention techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current and valid California PTA license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, anatomy, and rehabilitation principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
