A day in the lifeStart your afternoon on-site in Ripon, WI, step into a fast-paced manufacturing floor, and take ownership of the machines that keep production moving. You’ll read diagrams and manuals, grab the right hand and power tools, and dive into troubleshooting. One moment you’re commissioning a new machine; the next you’re testing a hydraulic circuit or verifying a conveyor’s performance with precision instruments. Throughout the shift, you’ll log work in a CMMS, analyze operation data, and recommend actions that cut downtime and boost reliability.What you’ll doRepair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments per diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specsService and troubleshoot motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding equipment, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machinesPrepare and commission new machines for operation following established protocols and proceduresPerform regular technical testing to ensure equipment safety and operational efficiencyCollect and analyze machine operation data to identify improvement opportunitiesRecommend and implement actions to reduce machine downtime and improve reliabilityUtilize a CMMS to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and maintain accurate equipment recordsSchedule and payStandard Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 3pm – 1pmHourly Rate: $30.96 - $34.53, commensurate with experience and qualificationsWhat you bringTwo-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience requiredAbility to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMSPhysical and hiring requirementsStanding long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bendingPassing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds**Our jobs require:Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background checkWhy Alliance Laundry SystemsWe operate with integrity and a strong work ethic.
