Your day may include:Designing minor control circuits and testing/troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic systems on production machinery.Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.Installing electrical/electronic controls by reading schematics and blueprints; performing panel work, wiring, and conduit runs.Applying knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems in a plant environment.Executing basic mechanical repairs alongside electrical tasks.Performing duties associated with lower classifications and, when needed, directing their work.Dismantling electrical machinery to replace defective electrical or mechanical components (e.g., brushes, armatures).Commissioning and monitoring electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, and needed replacements.Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to complete assignments.Laying out, assembling, installing, testing, repairing, and adjusting fixtures, apparatus, wiring, and new services including panels, breakers, and conduit.Mounting motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures; completing circuits per diagrams.Using proper tools and test instruments to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment.Carrying out a variety of tasks as directed by the Group Leader.What You BringTwo-year Associate degree plus 2–4 years of relevant experience.Comfort with computers: look up parts and enter work in a CMMS.Physical & Other RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods; sit, stoop, bend; strong manual dexterity.Pre-employment physical including a baseline lift of at least 50 pounds.Legal requirement (verbatim): Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background checkWhy AllianceStable, growing manufacturing environmentCompany events for employees and families throughout the yearPaid vacation in your first yearTuition reimbursementAnnual Perfect Attendance awardsSafety Recognition ProgramMedical plan with company-paid Health Reimbursement AccountDental and Vision coverage401(k) plan11 company-paid holidaysCompany-paid Life and AD&D Insurance with option to purchase moreCompany-paid Long-Term DisabilityAnnual wage increases
