Job Coordinator & Scheduler
Job description: Alliance Construction has an excellent opportunity for a Civil Construction Job Coordinator & Scheduler. The coordinator and scheduler supports all aspects of building the daily schedule for over 200 employees & pieces of heavy equipment. The coordinator will confirm trucking & delivery records, verify accuracy of hours & materials, and review invoices for all rental equipment and aggregates.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling: Assist Superintendents and Foreman with building an accurate, detailed schedule for the next business day.
Pivot quickly: Make adjustments on the fly as needs change through out the day. Communicate the changes with operators, dispatcher and truck drivers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of material to up to 20 different job sites each day.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate daily driver sheets, delivery tickets, and driver hours. Find areas of improvement on trucking production and efficiencies.
Problem Solving: Resolving issues with delays and unexpected site needs. Help locate and find resources quickly to improve production and efficiencies.
Cost Control: Approving paperwork (tickets and invoices) and managing third-party carriers/pricing.
Essential Skills:
Strong organizational, problem-solving, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
2 years of experience in high level scheduling
Practical written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer knowledge
