Janitorial Supervisor

Alliance Building Services, a leading full-service building maintenance company, is seeking multiple dedicated and experienced Janitorial Supervisor for our Bellevue locations. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all janitorial staff assigned to your facilities, ensuring daily tasks are completed to the highest standards. This role requires a candidate with a solid work history, extensive commercial cleaning experience, and the ability to adapt to the daily challenges of the job. We offer multiple schedules and competitive pay rates.Janitorial Supervisor ResponsibilitiesTrain, develop, and supervise janitorial staff (around 15 team members at once)Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees and clients.Perform formal cleaning inspections and enforce company and client policies and procedures.Provide corrective guidance and retraining to employees when necessary.Report safety and security issues promptly.Resolve customer issues effectively and professionally.Manage supplies and equipment inventory, including ordering as needed.Enforce OSHA and other health and safety regulations.Perform janitorial tasks when required.Submit nightly reports to management.Assign, supervise, and review the work of assigned janitorial staff, training staff in work procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Janitorial Supervisor QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of janitorial/cleaning experience.At least 1 year of experience managing crews--preferably 15 employees or moreProficiency in email communication and report submission.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Comfortable using a backpack vacuum for extended periods.Must be 18 years or older.Employment offers are contingent on passing a criminal background check.Janitorial Supervisor CompensationPay ranges from $25.52 to $25.52 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and overtime.Janitorial Supervisor BenefitsRetirement benefits:Pension (Union employees)401(k) (non-Union employees) Medical/Dental/Vision insurance for employees and their dependentsPaid Vacation, accruing at increasing rates with years of servicePaid Sick Time, accrued based on hours worked7 Paid Holidays (employees are eligible for holiday pay after 90 working days)
