We are currently seeking three dependable Full-Time Night Janitors to join our team supporting commercial buildings across the region. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance.
- Handle trash removal and recycling processes to ensure waste is properly disposed of and containers are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to uphold a bright and inviting environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Assist with light custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or touch-ups as needed.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and prevent accidents or injuries.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning techniques.
- Skilled in floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for effective custodial work.
- Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Strong work ethic with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or coordinating with team members effectively.
