About the Role:

The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) plays a critical role in providing comprehensive social work services to individuals and families. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential in the state of practice within the United States.
  • Knowledge of social work principles, clinical assessment, and intervention techniques.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in social work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in clinical, healthcare, or community-based social work settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and case management software.
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or child welfare.
  • Bilingual abilities or experience working with multicultural populations.
  • Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and care teams.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups to address mental health and social issues.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources, support services, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to coordinate care and support services.
  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality policies, and legal requirements governing social work practice.
