About this Job
We're looking for a Social Worker to join our Sulphur Clinic. Our Behavioral Health Services division provides comprehensive and coordinated outpatient services to individuals with mental illness and/or an addictive disorder (alcohol, drugs, or gambling) for both adults and children.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) plus:
A master's degree in social work.
NOTE:
Permanent status will not be granted in this job title without LMSW or LCSW licensure in Louisiana; Certified Social Worker (CSW) credential will not be accepted for granting permanent status.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Plans, prioritizes, and manages psychosocial assessments and clinical treatment services by evaluating clients’ functioning, conducting intensive interviews, gathering historical, legal, and/or technical data in order to determine and implement the most effective type of psychosocial intervention needed.
- Provide individual and group counseling to persons with a mental illness and/or an addiction using evidence-based practices, which include, but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Processing Therapy (IPT).
- Provides crisis intervention/assessment to clients who are suicidal, SPMI, co-occurring, addicted, homicidal, gravely disabled, or otherwise high risk.
- Communicate with various inpatient treatment facilities, court systems, DCFS, DHH attorney, mental health advocate, clients, and family members to ensure continuity of care for clients.

Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
