💰 Salary: $130k – $170k DOE
Our client, a big player in the General contractor market is hiring for a Senior Project Manager to support major hyper scale data center and mission critical projects in the Chicago market.
This role is responsible for leading large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery in line with client expectations, safety standards, and commercial targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale data center/mission critical electrical projects
- Manage budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and project schedules
- Oversee field teams and coordinate with estimators and engineers
- Drive scheduling and critical path management
- Maintain strong client communication and stakeholder alignment
- Mentor and develop junior PMs and project engineers
- Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget
- Remain actively involved on-site throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in electrical project management
- Proven experience delivering data center or mission critical projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems
- Experience managing large budgets and complex schedules
- Leadership mindset with ability to guide and develop teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
