A well-established commercial construction firm is looking to add an Estimator to its growing preconstruction team, based in the Burlington, NJ area.
This is a long-term opportunity with a company delivering a wide range of projects across retail, warehouse, industrial, and tenant fit-out sectors, with values ranging from $200K to $25M .
The Role
You’ll be part of a collaborative preconstruction team, responsible for delivering accurate and competitive estimates from early-stage budgeting through to GMP.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and GMP-level estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope alignment
- Identify cost risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
- Support buyout and preconstruction planning
- Work closely with project managers, field teams, and leadership
What They’re Looking For
- Experience estimating commercial construction projects
- Background in retail, warehouse, light industrial, or site-heavy projects preferred
- Strong understanding of trade scopes and subcontractor pricing
- Stable work history (longevity is highly valued)
- Local to the Burlington, NJ area or able to commute daily
- Ability to hit the ground running (some onboarding support provided)

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
