Role: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Civil Engineering (Residential Land Development)
Location: North-West Arkansas (Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville)
Salary: $100K-150K
We are seeking an experienced and driven Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in civil engineering and residential land development. This role is ideal for a client-facing leader who excels in site planning, infrastructure design, and development execution for residential communities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, design, and delivery of residential developments, including subdivisions and multi-family communities, while also supporting the growth and leadership of our civil engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Engineer of Record for residential land development projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Lead the planning and design of residential developments, including:
- Site layout and grading
- Drainage and stormwater management systems
- Roadway and access design
- Utility infrastructure (water, sewer, and dry utilities coordination)
Prepare and oversee civil construction documents, specifications, and permitting packages
Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and utility providers to secure entitlements and approvals
Act as the primary client interface, working closely with developers, builders, and stakeholders
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, EITs, and designers
Support project management functions, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
Drive team growth and local presence, including recruiting, training, and performance development
Collaborate with internal disciplines (structural, MEP, architecture) to ensure integrated project delivery
Participate in business development, including proposals, client meetings, and market expansion initiatives
Ensure all engineering work aligns with Arkansas regulatory requirements and PE standards
Key Requirements:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arkansas
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5–15 years of experience in residential land development and civil site design
- Strong knowledge of zoning, subdivision regulations, stormwater management, and utility design
- Proven experience working with residential developers and homebuilders
- Demonstrated leadership in project delivery and client relationship management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools preferred
