What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Rover (Monday - Friday, 11AM - 7PM) position at Allegheny Coatings?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload trucks
- Coordinate with S&R to maintain well organized incoming/outgoing product area
- Supply pre-treatment with product
- Properly relocate and organize dunnage
- Complete Daily Forklift Pre-Use Inspection, and corresponding Forms
- Fill in for production operators to ensure proper coverage as needed
- Perform miscellaneous housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, painting, organizing, etc.
- Perform miscellaneous duties, such as assembling boxes, sorting parts, etc.
- Forklift Pre-Use inspection
- Other assigned tasks as needed per Supervisor
- Assist in training of new personnel
- Adherence to company policies
DESIRED ABILITIES:
- Ability to properly operate all forklifts
- Dip Spin coating and packaging experience is preferred
- Spray line operator experience is preferred
- Grit blaster operator ability is preferred
- Ability to operate the cleaning station
- Ability to anticipate production needs
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Cognizant of safety and responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
