What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian (Lunch) Part Time position at Allegan Public Schools?
CUSTODIAN - LUNCH - PART TIME
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Custodial duties include all phases of setup/teardown of lunch tables and cleaning of tables and floors.
- Light maintenance duties and security responsibilities throughout the building.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items of 50 pounds, such as pushing equipment, or moving/rearranging furniture. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 20 Hours/Week, based on 52 week custodial calendar
SALARY: Per Custodial Handbook Salary Schedule
LOCATION: Allegan Elementary
REPORTS TO: Custodial/Maintenance Supervisor and/or Building Principal
