Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and customer-focused Front Office & Shop Assistant to support daily operations in our busy window tinting shop. This role combines front desk responsibilities ensuring smooth operations with hands-on assistance in the shop, helping ensure excellent customer service and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and manage the front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle incoming calls , ensuring excellent phone etiquette.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and staff.
- Perform data entry, filing, and clerical tasks to maintain organized office records.
- Assist with office management duties including inventory management of supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing administrative tasks.
- Support team members with various administrative functions as required.
- Greet customers and provide professional customer service.
- Assist technicians with vehicle preparation and cleanup.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
- Stock and organize supplies, tools, and inventory.
- Help unload deliveries and manage inventory levels.
- Assist with basic shop tasks as assigned by management.
- Ensure a safe and professional work environment.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and text inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar.
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and collect payments.
- Follow up with customers regarding appointments and completed work.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, receptionist, or automotive experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (scheduling, email, invoicing, and data entry).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
